When everything fell apart and life turned nomadic, the only thing that kept us afloat and held our minds together was working on our projects — in our case,
on Salomé. For many, the coworking space became a similar island of stability — a place where, despite the rupture of familiar structures, the possibility to create, and gather still remained. By day in the coworking we try to keep the world from slipping through our fingers; by evening we dance the dance of reality — Salomé.
That’s why we performed Salomé there — as a reflection of this condition: art born amid ruins, in the midst of an attempt to keep a grip on reality.
Presented as part of a residency in Montenegro.
